Good Morning
Everyone…
What a glorious day!!!
Summer is finally here and we have waited all winter for this. At least I have. The older I get the more I dislike the Cold
winter days. I thought it was about time
that I sent out another Pastor’s Thought’s page and let you know what is going
on around the church.
As most of you know we had a meeting last Wednesday here at
church… Great Spirit and great meeting.
Thanks for all your support and encouragement. The last 6 months have been pretty tough
around here with all the changes. But
we are going to make it… and we are going to come out on top because we are
staying faithful.
On kind of a down note… we are struggling financially here at the church so we have had to
cut back on some personal and some salaries.
But again, we are going to make it.
However, there are a couple of things we need if some of you out there
could help us out. First, we need a new printer…. This is about $190.00. Out Printer is on its way out and does not
print color anymore. Also, we would like
to purchase a DVD duplicator. This is so we can start Videotaping our
services and having them available to purchase as well. The
cost for the duplicator is $350.00 if you can help us in that
area.
We will be having a work
night here at the church on June 5th beginning at 5 pm. If you can help out we really need to have
you here. Also, I have a list of things
that need to be done around the church that if you can give us a couple of
hours at any other time we would appreciate it.
Just contact the church office to let us know when you can be here.
Alarm System;
We will begin using the alarm system here at the church again. If you know the alarm code you’re good to go…
if you don’t, call Teresa and she can give you the code and the operation
instructions. Please remember to set the
alarm when you leave the church. Thanks.
We will be having an Eagle
101 Class on June 23rd at 4 pm. Anyone wishing to know more about EHM, or
wanting to join the church, can attend this class. A sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board….
Pizza will be served for dinner that evening.
Please remember to pray for the Oklahoma Tornado victims.
We will be taking up a special offering for them in the next few
weeks. I also would like to schedule a
trip down there to see if we can help them in anyway. If you’re interested, please contact the
church office, or see me.
I’m excited to see what God is going to do over the next few
months…. My favorite verse is Romans 8:28….And we know that in all things God works for
the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
He is definitely working in our Church…. And HE will make
all things work out for HIS GOOD!!! I’m
so looking forward to the blessings that God is going to pour out on all of
us. Remember, you have his FAVOR upon you. So we need to start living like it.
